Mrs Denise Holberry of Nuthall has made a very generous donation of 5 fans to be used at the bedside of patients in the High Dependency Unit at QMC.
Mrs Holberry was pleased to make this gesture in gratitude for the excellent care she received on the ward in 2021.
The fans were delivered on March 8th to QMC by Dr Judith Grant who is a Trustee of the Friends of NUH.
The fans were purchased from Amazon.
Mrs Holberry’s daughter, Donna, works for Amazon. She was kindly able to facilitate a further donation of 10 additional fans following an approach by Dr Grant to Amazon to see if they would be able to help the hospital too.
The Hospital staff are very grateful to Mrs Holberry and her family, and to Amazon too.”
