The charity was recently approached by a lady who had spent some of the lockdown knitting children’s toys.

Valerie from West Bridgford wanted to donate the toys to the Children’s Hospital, but given the current restrictions, did not know how to go about it.

Valerie approached the Friends of QMC who arranged to collect the toys and have arranged for the appropriate wards at the hospital to receive delivery.

The knitted toys will be given to children by the ward staff.

Our strap line is ‘Because the little things really matter”. This was not a large cash donation, rather the donation of toys that had been lovingly created by hand.

They will make a big difference to the children that receive them.

Thank you Valerie.

Cash donations are always appreciated and allow us to do more for the hospital. Small or large. One-off or regular – it all really helps.
